A successful and long standing builder in Victoria, they have grown and continue to grow in to a well known brand. Having delivered projects from Aged care developments, Schools, Pavilions right through to Churches and University Buildings, they pride themselves on successful D&C and ECI projects. The Role
As a Construction Manager, initially you will be involved with Design development & Early Contractor Involvement, as well as getting your head around the systems and processes in place. In year 1, it is expected you will be in control of between $40 - $50m worth of project and grow from there. You will have the opportunity to grow your own team, whilst also cross resourcing with other Construction Managers in the business.
Your team will consist of 2 Project Managers, each with a Contract Administrator, Project Co-Ordinator and Site Managers.
Your projects will range from retirement Living, Aged Care, University Buildings and Government Properties, each with a project value of between $2m - $10m.
You will be in charge of your own profit & loss accounts, resourcing and your entire division, whilst still having the support of a General Manager and executive structure to assist.
You
This role will suit someone from an established Melbourne Construction business, who has been in a Project Manager role delivering a variety of commercial projects over the last 5-10 years, but equally an existing Construction Manager who is keen for a new challenge.
Ambition and attitude are key to your success in this position. you'll have an estimating team and Business Development Manager winning the work, but your hunger to deliver will ultimately be the happy ending we're looking for.
