3D Commercial are seeking an ambitious and driven Project Coordinator/Senior Contract Administrator to join a highly successful team, specialising in a range of commercial building & fitout works up to $20m.

The Role
Reporting to a Project Manager and working closely with the Contract Administrator & Site Manager, you will manage specific elements of the project to ensure a successful delivery. Your duties will include;

  • Review construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Assist with tender negotiations, variations & contract admin 
  • Coordinate & manage subcontractors 
  • Document control of drawings between site teams, subcontractors, and consultants 
  • Preparation of work scopes and technical documentation
  • Administration of contractor's progress claims and variations
  • Ensure projects are tracked and managed in accordance with quality, program and budget
  • Cost reporting 
  • Assist with management of all onsite operations 

This will be an opportunity to work with a leadership team with a skill set from a broad range of Tier 1 & Tier 2 organisations, where structure and process will be instilled in all practices, for an efficient delivery. 

About You
Apart from having a positive attitude and strong work ethic, you will possess the following;

  • 2-4+ years construction experience as a Project Coordinator/Senior Contract Administrator 
  • Ambition to eventually transition into a Project Manager yourself
  • Tertiary Qualification in Building & Construction
  • Ability to communicate with sub-contractors effectively
  • Excellent communication & relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of software including Hammertech, Aconex & Procore are highly regarded.
