I'm currently working with a business who is looking for an experienced Fit Out Site Manager for an exciting 8-week contract position based in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the successful execution of fit-out projects within the specified timeframes and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure effective collaboration and timely project delivery.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify any issues or delays, and implement corrective measures as required.
• Manage the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources necessary for the project.
• Provide regular progress reports to the project manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
• Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment, leading by example and promoting teamwork among the site team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, overseeing fit-out projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
